Description

In restful darkness only ripples of grays in a sea of metallic blacks and silvers. The Princess has become a Witch. However, small slivers of gold may show themselves. The Princess’s hopes and dreams will never fade, no matter how miniscule they remain.

“From Dream to Dust Vol. III” is a 16″x20″ geometric, abstract piece. Crafted from painted fine art paper on a wood panel, the artwork combines the traditional art of paper origami with an abstract painting technique. The composition features a pattern of three-dimensional diamond or kite-like shapes, meticulously arranged in a symmetric display.

The overlapping shapes create an illusion of depth, further enhanced by the gradient of gray shades transitioning from light on the outer edges to dark at the center. This gradient amplifies the sense of movement within the piece. The intricate geometric forms stand out against a solid, neutral background, drawing attention to the meticulous arrangement and depth of the design.
